The whole battery management system is a 2-level structure, n slave battery management units, and the number of slave units can be divided into 12 strings, 24 strings, 36 strings, 48 strings which responsible for managing the information collection, management and equalization of each single battery. The BCU is responsible for collecting the information of all the slave control units, calculating the battery pack SOC, SOH, collecting the total voltage, the total current, the insulation resistance and communicating externally, and the BCU controls part of high voltage contactor of power loop.
